The Municipality of Tešanj, in cooperation with the Tešanj Municipal Development Agency, organized the 10th High School and College Fair on April 18, 2025, which was held at the Tešanj Sports and Recreation Center. The fair aims to provide students in the final grades of primary and secondary schools, as well as their parents, and the general public with relevant information about further education opportunities in the municipality of Tešanj, the Zenica-Doboj Canton and beyond.
Through the presentation of high schools and higher education institutions from Bosnia and Herzegovina, participants were able to learn about educational programs, enrollment requirements, as well as future professional perspectives, and professional orientation is an extremely important segment of school planning and programming.
Pedagogical Institute Zenica took part in this fair, which this year brought together around 40 exhibitors (faculties and schools from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina). The fair was attended by around 500 graduates from nine elementary schools and around 500 graduates from three high schools from the Tešanj municipality. Fairs like this contribute to strengthening education and provide support to young people in the segment of career orientation and further professional development.
