As part of the Erasmus+ project, Bryne Upper Secondary School from Norway visited the Mixed Secondary School Tešanj with the aim of establishing cooperation through the signing of a memorandum of understanding. The visit was coordinated by the Pedagogical Institute Zenica, which presented the system of vocational secondary education in the Zenica-Doboj Canton.
Bryne Upper Secondary School, one of the largest in Norway with more than 2,500 students, is located in the town of Bryne in Rogaland County, near Stavanger. The school expressed interest in cooperating with Bosnian and Herzegovinian schools that offer education in the fields of mechanical engineering and construction, with a particular focus on exchanging experiences in vocational education.
During the meeting, held on April 29, 2026, at the premises of Mixed Secondary School Tešanj, both schools presented their work and exchanged experiences, followed by a visit to the cultural landmarks of Tešanj. Representatives of all three institutions – Bryne Upper Secondary School, Mixed Secondary School Tešanj, and the Pedagogical Institute Zenica – expressed their satisfaction with the successfully organized meeting and emphasized their desire to continue cooperation through future projects.
