Following the successful training held on January 16, 2026, which brought together a large number of primary school teachers from the Zenica-Doboj Canton, another online training session took place on January 23, 2026, on the topic Application of Artificial Intelligence in Teaching, intended for both secondary and primary school teachers.
The aim of today’s training was to further empower teachers in the use of AI tools, enhancing lesson planning and delivery, and ensuring a higher quality and more inclusive educational practice.
The program included practical examples and demonstrations of tools that can support teachers in individualizing learning, developing students’ digital competencies, and fostering critical thinking and ethical awareness.
Special emphasis was placed on the opportunities AI provides in secondary education, where students are preparing for further studies and the labor market in a time of rapid technological change.
The Pedagogical Institute Zenica, in cooperation with the International Association “Interactive Open Schools” (MIOS) Tuzla, continues the implementation of the project Strengthening the School System in Three Cantons through Teacher Training and the School Model, reaffirming the importance of continuous professional development for teachers.
The strong interest and participation of teachers demonstrate that the education system recognizes the significance of artificial intelligence as a valuable support in teaching, and that through joint efforts we are building the foundations of modern and inclusive education.
