The University of Sarajevo, in cooperation with UNICEF and the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Youth of the Sarajevo Canton, organized a one-day training course entitled “DigiEdu: Training of Trainers” as part of the project “Strengthening Pedagogical and Digital Competencies of Teachers”. The aim of the training was to empower teachers of all levels of education from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the use of interactive methods and tools in teaching, and to develop pedagogical competencies in order to improve the quality of the teaching process, especially interactivity in teaching. The training encouraged creativity, innovation and active learning among the teachers present, which allows them to better engage their students. The training was conducted in English, and the lecturer was Ms. Elizabeth Hanlis, who has more than 20 years of experience in the field of education, training and over 150 e-learning projects across Canada and other parts of the world. The training was attended by, among others, representatives of the Pedagogical Institute of Zenica (4 expert advisors) and 10 teachers from educational institutions from the Zenica-Doboj Canton.
