On August 28, 2024, Director of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica- Aida Salkić and the Director of the FMC Sarajevo – Zikreta Tubić, performed documentation on the establishment of the Financial Management and Control System (FMC), as an administrative organization in the composition of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Zenica-Doboj Canton officially started implementing the said system.
In the presence of the team members of the Financial Management and Control System (FMC) at Pedagogical Institute Zenica, the process of the process and register of risks were also placed on the electronic platform for the establishment and control of the Financial Management and Control System (FMC), and which is intellectual property of the FMC Sarajevo Agency.
Establishment of the Financial Management and Control System (FMC) is the obligation under the Law on Financial Management and Controls in the public sector of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s financial management and the public sector control in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also one of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Review Office. Quality establishment of the Financial Management and Control System at Pedagogical Institute Zenica, the continued assessment of the impact of the risk of business in this body segments, as well as the establishment of the risk registry and the adoption of the risk management strategy.
The establishment of the Financial Management and Control System at Pedagogical Institute Zenica complied with all legal and bylaws related to financial operations, management and control within the public sector. The Financial Management and Control System at Pedagogical Institute Zenica had a number of consultative meetings with representatives of the FMC Sarajevo Agency, and the employees at Pedagogical Institute Zenica passed two one-day trainings related to the Financial Management and Control System.
The last organized training entitled “Risk Management” was realized on August 28, 2024 after handover the folder of the process and the risk registry. With the realization of these activities, the objectives were achieved within the three-year and Annual work plan of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica.
