The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Pedagogical Institute Zenica, in cooperation with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe – the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, began implementing the Project “Quality Education through Curricular Reform” in 2020. This project includes support from the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina to the relevant Ministry and the Pedagogical Institute Zenica in terms of improving the quality and inclusiveness of education through the development of subject curricula for primary and secondary general education based on learning outcomes, in accordance with the document Common Core Curricula Defined on Learning Outcomes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was adopted by the Agency for Preschool, Primary and Secondary Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
