A roundtable entitled “Overview of the State of Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina – Future Steps” was organized and held in Sarajevo by the Ministry of Education of the Sarajevo Canton and the Institute for the Development of Pre-University Education of the Sarajevo Canton. The roundtable was attended by the relevant ministries of education in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, pedagogical institutes, the Federal Ministry of Education and Science, the Agency for Preschool, Primary and Secondary Education, universities, domestic and foreign governmental and non-governmental organizations. The Zenica Pedagogical Institute presented the results of two projects that were implemented in the period 2020-2023. year – the project “Quality Education through Curricular Reform” implemented in partnership with the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, and the project “Vocational Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina” implemented in partnership with GIZ and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton. The aforementioned round table was attended by Aida Salkić, Director of the Pedagogical Institute, Fehim Terzić, expert advisor for education affairs, and Nesib Šijerkić, senior expert associate for secondary education and adult education at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton.
