As part of its regular activities, and in accordance with the Annual Work Program of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica seminar was held for primary and secondary school principals from the Zenica-Doboj Canton was held on December 2, 2025.
The seminar was implemented with the technical support of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has proven to be an active partner of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica in the segment of improving inclusiveness and quality of education, especially in the segment of the process of developing, implementing and evaluating curricula based on learning outcomes.The topics covered during today’s seminar related to information on the experimental application of curricula in the period from the 2023/2024 school year to the 2024/2025 school year and the change in the paradigm of learning and teaching from the perspective of school principals and other stakeholders who are directly involved in monitoring, organizing and evaluating the teaching process, taking into account the elements of the new curricula.In addition to the organizers – the Pedagogical Institute Zenica and the directors of primary and secondary schools, the seminar was also attended by officials of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The seminar was opened by Aida Salkić, Director of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica, and Magdalena Stanczyk, Head of the OSCE Mission Office in Travnik. The working part of the seminar, with the inspiring and quality moderation of Sanja Hadžihajdić, expert advisor for the field of education, was attended by Fehim Terzić, expert advisor for the field of education, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amer Ćaro from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zenica.
