As part of the activities planned by the Annual Work Plan of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica for 2025, on January 23, 2025, the Pedagogical Institute Zenica, in cooperation with the International Association “Interactive Open Schools” Tuzla, held two online seminars (webinars) on the topic “Working in an inclusive team of elementary schools”. Within the framework of this topic, the following topics have been implemented:
- The role of teaching assistants in working with students on the autism spectrum within an inclusive team – lecturer Assistant Professor Doctor of Science Silva Banović,
- Specifics of working with students on the autism spectrum within an inclusive team – lecturer Suzana Jokić, dipl. educator-rehabilitator.
- Monitoring, evaluation and progress in work – lecturer Amila Herceg Hodžić, expert advisor for the field of education – inclusive education from the Pedagogical Institute Zenica.
The webinars were intended for professional associates in the field of education and rehabilitation and associates (teaching assistants) who are members of inclusive teams of primary schools in the Zenica-Doboj Canton.
