In accordance with the Competition Organization Plan for the 2023/2024 school year, on 04.03.2024, the XXVII Cantonal Competition of High School Students in the Physics subject was held at the Public Institution Mixed Secondary School Zenica. The competition included three areas:
A. Mechanics and Heat,
B. Electromagnetism and Oscillations,
C. Optics, Theory of Relativity and Atomic Physics.
As for the results of the competition, in the area A. Mechanics and Heat , the first place was won by student Emin Buza from Public Institution Gymnasium Visoko. The second place was won by student Mak Karabeg from KŠC “Sveti Pavao” – general gymnasium Zenica, while the third place was taken by Amer Moštro from Public Institution Gymnasium “Muhsin Rizvić” Kakanj.
When it comes to area B. Electromagnetism and oscillations , the first place was won by student Elmas Hamidović from the Secondary Technical School Zavidovići, the second place was won by student Kerim Fetić from the First Gymnasium Zenica, and the third place was won by student Faruk Kurić from the First Gymnasium Zenica.
In area C. Optics, Theory of Relativity and Atomic Physics , the first place was won by student Kerim Mujkanović from the Gymnasium “Musa Ćazim Ćatić” Tešanj, the second place was won by student Faris Brzina from the Secondary Mixed School Žepče, while the third place was won by student Affan Kaknjo from the First Gymnasium Zenica.
The organizer of the competition is, as in previous years, the Pedagogical Institute of Zenica, and this year’s host school was the Mixed Secondary School Zenica. The competition was attended by Aida Salkić, director of the Pedagogical Institute of Zenica, and the coordinator of the organization and implementation of the competition, Aldijana Salić, an expert advisor for the field of education from the Pedagogical Institute of Zenica.
