The Agency for Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary Education (APOSO) and the National Support Service EPALE Bosnia and Herzegovina organized the EPALE National Conference on Media and Information Literacy for the Digital Age on Friday, 13 December 2024.
APOSO has been implementing the ERASMUS+ EPALE project since 2015 with the aim of improving the adult education system in Bosnia and Herzegovina and bringing it closer to European educational standards. The EPALE electronic platform is intended for all professionals in the field of adult education and enables networking and exchange of teaching materials, experiences and good practices with experts from the region and Europe.
As part of the conference program, lectures were organized by professors from the Universities of Banja Luka and Bihać and the University of Mostar with current topics related to the role of the media in the formation of personal and social values, the impact of the media on human behavior, security and privacy on the Internet, the role and importance of digital literacy in education and the challenges of the modern information society.
