The Twenty-Eighth Cantonal Mathematics Competition for Primary School Students of the Zenica-Doboj Canton was organized by the Pedagogical Institute Zenica on April 5, 2025, with the aim of promoting mathematics among young people and recognizing talented students. The host of this year’s competition was the Primary School “Mula Mustafa Bašeskija” Kakanj, which, with its excellent organization, helped the competition to be successful and in a pleasant working atmosphere. The school principal, Senaila Selimović, and Sanja Hadžihajdić, an expert advisor for the field of education from the Pedagogical Institute Zenica, welcomed the participants. The coordinator of the organization and implementation of the competition from the Pedagogical Institute Zenica was Aldiana Nuhanović, an expert advisor for the field of education.
This year, the event brought together 110 of the best young mathematicians from 42 primary schools in our canton, who, in order to reach this level of competition, successfully passed school and municipal/city competitions with the best results.
