The 28th Cantonal Physics Competition for Primary School Students

Organized by the Pedagogical Institute of Zenica, the 28th Cantonal Physics Competition for primary school students was held on Saturday, April 12, 2025. The host of this year’s event was Primary School “KULIN BAN” Visoko. A total of 59 students from the Zenica-Doboj Canton, who achieved top results at their municipal/city-level competitions, qualified to participate. The students were accompanied by their dedicated teachers-mentors, whose commitment to working with students plays a key role in achieving great results. The competition coordinator from the Pedagogical Institute of Zenica was Aldijana Salić, an education advisor.

8th Grade:

3. Karahasanović Faris – “The First Primary school” Zavidovići
4. Hamzić Harun – PS “Mehmedalija Mak Dizdar” Visoko
5. Lisica Luna – CSC ,,Sveti Pavao” – Primary School Zenica

9th Grade:
1. Subašić Amar – PS “1. March” Tešanj
2. Jerkić Mateo – CSC “Sveti Pavao” – Primary School Zenica

3. Omanović Džena – PS “Mula Mustafa Bašeskija” Visoko

4. Selimanović Lamija – PS “Hasan Kjafija Pruščak” Zenica

5. Hasanbašić Farah – PS “Meša Selimović” Zenica

The top five students from each grade will represent the Zenica-Doboj Canton at the Federal Physics Competition in May. The top three students from each category received diplomas and monetary awards in accordance with the Criteria for Distribution of Funds for Cantonal Student Competitions, implemented by the Pedagogical Institute of Zenica in the 2024/2025 school year.
This competition was a valuable opportunity for students to showcase their knowledge, gain new experiences, connect with peers who share similar interests, and further develop their passion for physics.
