A two-day conference organized by the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina was held in Sarajevo from 6 to 7 June 2024. The conference was dedicated to the professional development of school principals and their impact on the quality of education. One of the conclusions of this two-day conference was, among other things, that quality and inclusive education is key to developing the potential of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The conference brought together representatives of the relevant educational authorities and institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as experts from Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina who highlighted the importance of the role of school principals in the educational process. The conference was attended by Aida Salkić, director of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica, and Aldijana Salić, expert advisor in the field of education.
