The Pedagogical Institute of Zenica, in cooperation with UNDP, continued education in primary and secondary schools on the topic “Protection of Children in the Digital Environment”. The education was held on October 29, 2024. at the “Skender Kulenović” Primary School in Zenica and the Mixed Secondary School in Zenica. The education was held by M.Sc. Vahidin Đaltur, an expert in the field of cybersecurity and a permanent court expert for digital forensics.
The goal of this education is to introduce children and young people to the dangers and risks in the digital environment, as well as ways to protect themselves.
The education is very useful, especially since students mostly use digital technology to communicate with others, unaware of the risks it brings. In the coming period, students, with the support of their homeroom teachers and pedagogues, will have the task of transferring their knowledge and impressions from this education to other students, during class community classes.
