As part of the project “Integrated approach to social inclusion”, Caritas Switzerland in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, the Pedagogical Institute Zenica and the Roma Support Center “Romalen” Kakanj, organized the fifth training for teachers and professional associates of primary and secondary schools from the Kakanj municipality and representatives of municipal institutions in this municipality.
The education was attended by 24 participants, and it was implemented in the Public Institution Cultural and Sports Center Kakanj with the support of Caritas Switzerland in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is a partner of the Zenica Pedagogical Institute in the implementation of the aforementioned project.
The topics covered by this education are the following:
• The role of communication in the prevention of violence,
• The importance of inclusive teams in schools, • Resolving conflict situations and
• Etiquette with students with disabilities.
The training was implemented by Sanja Hadžihajdić, expert advisor for the field of education, and Amila Herceg Hodžić, expert advisor for the field of education – inclusive education from the Pedagogical Institute Zenica.
