Pedagogical Institute Zenica, in cooperation with the Elementarzy School “Abdulvehab Ilhamija” Kalošević, Tešanj, organized the 28th Cantonal Informatics Competition for Elementary School Students from the Zenica-Doboj Canton on April 19, 2025.
Before the competition itself, a ceremonial event was held in which students from the host school participated and thus presented the work of teachers and students in the field of extracurricular activities.
The participants of the competition, their companions and guests were addressed by the school director, Mr. Muhamed Agić, who thanked everyone who contributed to the organization of this competition and welcomed them.
On behalf of the Municipality of Tešanj, the Assistant Mayor, Ms. Muslija Azra, addressed the participants and wished them much success and emphasized the full support of the Municipality in evaluating the success of students in education.
On behalf of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica, Ms. Aida Salkić, Director of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica, addressed the attendees and officially opened the aforementioned competition.
The competition was also attended by expert advisors in the field of education, Ms. Amila Herceg-Hodžić and Ms. Amela Serdarević-Šogolj, and Ms. Dženana Čišija, Minister of the Ministry of Finance in the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton.
The results of this year’s competition are as follows:
1st place – Ahmed Fišek, JU Elementary School “Musa Ćazim Ćatić” Veliko Čajno, Visoko;
2nd place – Almir Meštrić, JU Elementary School “Mak Dizdar” Zenica;
3rd place – Mirza Tutnjić, JU Elementary School “Skender Kulenović” Zenica.
