On December 19, 2023, the program of Radio-Television Zenica presented current events in the work of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica. Aida Salkić, director of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica, was a guest on the TV show “Afternoon with you”. Since this TV show focuses on current topics in its content, current and key program activities of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica – an administrative organization within the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton – were presented.
The guest on this TV show presented the activities of the Pedagogical Institute related to: curricular reform of general education (regular primary schools and gymnasiums), curricular reform in the field of secondary vocational education and training, activities related to IT and analytical activities, activities in the segment of professional development of professionals in the field of upbringing and education, challenges of upbringing and education in the context of digitalization, recommendations and conclusions of international surveys PISA 2018, TIMMS 2019, implemented activities in the domain of professional development in the field of programming and measures to prevent Cyber violence were presented, as well as activities that the Pedagogical Institute Zenica implements in cooperation with the Institute for Health and Food Safety Zenica, mental health centers in the Zenica-Doboj Canton, the Agency for Preschool, Primary and Secondary Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina, other domestic and foreign governmental and non-governmental organizations, etc. The public was presented with the elements and possibilities of the Educational Platform of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica, which is a kind of digital tool intended for employees of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica, professional, scientific and general public, i.e. its segments related to subject curricula, eEducation – a platform for self-learning, e-statistics and the public part through which it is possible to communicate with the Pedagogical Institute Zenica.
