In November 2024, a two-day Conference on Vocational Education and Training: Quality to Excellence was held in Konjic, organized by OeAD, GIZ and GOPA with the financial support of the Austrian, German and Swiss governments. Local and international experts, decision-makers, business representatives and young people participated.
Some of the topics discussed were: Youth perspectives on the importance of quality assurance in vocational education and training, Employer perspectives and roles in quality assurance in vocational education and training, Support for the implementation of the reference framework for quality assurance in vocational education and training, International experiences of Slovakia, Austria and the Baltic countries – good practices in quality assurance, Business reality within the framework of which the company visit was carried out.
Representatives of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica participated in the working group on the Use of Occupational Standards and Curricula for Quality Assurance in Vocational Education. Projects that international organizations will implement with partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the coming period, in which the Pedagogical Institute will also participate, were presented, with the aim of improving the quality of vocational education and training.
