On March 5, 2024, a National Meeting for Information and Consultation was held in Sarajevo within the framework of the Turin Process for monitoring policies on lifelong learning in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Aida Salkić, the director of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica, attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed lifelong learning and work-based learning for youth and adults, in the context of obligations taken from the Youth Guarantee. The welcome address was given by a representative of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Ms. Pilvi Torsti – the director of ETF – addressed the meeting via video link. The results of policy monitoring were presented by Mr. William Bartlett and international expert Mihaylo Milovanovitch from ETF, and the first discussion was led by Jan Peter Ganter de Otero, the ETF representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Following this part, group discussions continued on recommendations and ways of their implementation, and the conclusions from the meeting were presented by the national coordinator of the Turin Process, Jan Peter Ganter de Otero.
