Organized by the Zenica Pedagogical Institute, the XXVI Cantonal Competition of Elementary School Students in Physics was held on April 15, 2023, at the “Mak Dizdar” Elementary School in Zenica.
Students from Breza, Doboj Jug, Kakanj, Maglaj, Olovo, Tešanj, Vareš, Visoko, Zavidovići, Zenica and Žepče took part in this competition. A total of 33 schools, based on the results achieved in the municipal/city competitions, registered to participate in the Cantonal competition with a total of 57 students (28 students from the 8th grade and 29 students from the 9th grade) and their accompanying teachers.
According to the results of the XXVI Cantonal Competition of Elementary School Students in Physics, the following students have qualified for the Federal Competition, which will be held on May 20, 2023, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Sarajevo.

3. Ferhatović Edin – Prva osnovna škola Zavidovići

The three first-placed students from each field received diplomas as well as cash prizes in accordance with the Criteria for the distribution of funds for cantonal student competitions conducted by the Pedagogical Institute in 2023.
