The 29th Cantonal Competition of Primary School Students in Physics was held on April 18, 2026, at the First Primary School in Zavidovići, organized by the Pedagogical Institute of Zenica. A total of 58 eighth- and ninth-grade students participated, having previously qualified as the best in their municipalities and towns of the Zenica-Doboj Canton.
The competition was ceremoniously opened with a program prepared by the host school, featuring speeches by the school principal, Admir Višća, and Aldijana Salić, educational advisor at the Pedagogical Institute and competition coordinator. Their words of support and encouragement gave students additional motivation to showcase their knowledge.

For the top three places, the Pedagogical Institute provided monetary awards in accordance with the Criteria for the Allocation of Funds for Cantonal Student Competitions for the 2025/2026 school year. The top five students also qualified for the Federal Physics Competition, which will be held on May 16, 2026.
