As part of the project “Strengthening the school system in three cantons through training of teaching staff and model schools” a training on the topic of “Changes and Resistance” was held on November 28 and 29, 2025 by the International Association MIOS Tuzla. The project is being implemented in cooperation with the Pedagogical Institute Zenica and the Pedagogical Institute Mostar and is supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Germany and the Freudenberg Foundation, Germany.
The goal of the training is to develop the participants’ competencies necessary for leading changes in educational institutions while understanding the dynamics of resistance and strategies for overcoming it, and to empower managers and members of development teams to understand the psychological, organizational and communication aspects of changes, and to recognize constructive responses to resistance that naturally occurs in the transformation process.
The training was attended by representatives of the development teams of model schools and representatives of the competent Pedagogical Institutes. On behalf of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica, Amila Herceg-Hodžić, expert advisor for the field of education – inclusive education, and Aldiana Nuhanović, expert advisor for the field of education, were present.
