German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) implemented the project “Vocational Education in BiH” in the area of Zenica-Doboj Canton, on the basis of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and GIZ. Within the project “Vocational Education in BiH”, part “Development capacities of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica with two selected measures for further improvement of the work with “I’m going to give you a 1 Measure 1. Development of new modular curricula and Measure 2. The Pedagogical Institute of Pedagogy has been implementing the Catalogue of Trainings for Employees in the Field of Education Measure 1 has developed a new methodology for the development of the NPP in the middle professional education and training, and on the basis of the same two curricula and programs will be developed for occupations Woodworking technician and carpenter. Within the framework of Measure 2, a catalogue of training was made with training for educated professionals in the Zenica-Doboj Canton. Also, an educational platform of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica has been developed as a digital tool to support the processes of improvement in the field of secondary vocational education and training. The final conference dedicated to the project activities entitled “Secondary Vocational Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina – Best Practices and Future Priorities” was held in Sarajevo, where the Pedagogical Institute Zenica was also presented as a partner organization of GIZ in the project. The conference was attended by Aida Salkić, director of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica, and expert advisors in the field of education Almir Sivro, Fehim Terzić and Amila Herceg Hodžić.
