In December 2023, the Zenica Pedagogical Institute, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UNDP BiH), organized a Training of Elementary School Informatics Teachers in the Zenica-Doboj Canton in the field of C++ Programming and Internet Security.

The world is developing towards the automation of all production processes, starting from production, trade, but also services. All these automated processes cannot function without programs created by programmers. C++ is one of the most popular programming languages of all time and can be found in today’s operating systems, graphical user interfaces and embedded systems.
By using the Internet, we encounter various potential dangers that can threaten the security of our computers and the data on them, so it is necessary to take care of security on the Internet.
The training also served to detect the needs of teachers when it comes to materials from the above areas, and the development of manuals was started, which are available on the Educational Platform of the Pedagogical Institute Zenica in the Publishing – Other publications section. The manuals were made in cooperation with the Pedagogical Institute of Zenica, within the project “Better Management of Economic Growth” (EGG2), which supports and funds the Government of the Kingdom of Norway and is implementing the United Nations Development Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
